Social Studies 社会科（しゃかいか）

This website provides study materials for learning social studies.

Social studies has three main parts:

• Geography: Includes Japanese and world geography. You will learn about regional characteristics, landforms, climate, people’s lives, and industries in Japan and around the world.
• History: Covers important events in Japan and the world. Japanese history is divided into:
  • Pre-modern history (ancient to early modern times)
  • Modern and contemporary history (after Japan’s modernization efforts)
• Civics: Covers politics, economics, and international society. It also helps students study contemporary social issues and think about ways to solve problems.

📌 I have analyzed many past high school entrance exam questions in social studies. Based on this, I will introduce frequently appearing keywords and provide free study materials.
📌 Also, my specialty is economics, so I can explain social studies from the view of “resources” and other related topics in a simple and clear way.

社会科しゃかいかは3つの分野ぶんやに分わかれています。

• 地理ちり: 日本にほんと世界せかいの地域的ちいきてきな特徴とくちょう、地形ちけい、気候きこう、人々ひとびとの生活せいかつ、産業さんぎょうについて学まなびます。
• 歴史れきし: 日本にほんと世界せかいの重要じゅうような出来事できごとを学まなびます。日本史にほんしは以下いかの2つに分わかれます。
  • 前近代史ぜんきんだいし（古代こだいから近世きんせいまで）
  • 近現代史きんげんだいし（日本にほんの近代化きんだいか以降いこう）
• 公民こうみん: 政治せいじ、経済けいざい、国際社会こくさいしゃかいについて学まなびます。また、現代社会げんだいしゃかいの問題もんだいを考かんがえ、課題かだいを解決かいけつする方法ほうほうを学まなびます。
